Boys -n- Bugs

Brennan received a new bug catcher container last week. This morning as Colin and I were packing for our trip, Brennan was out in the yard. He was very excited as he ran to me with his first find - a june bug. Except I didn't see it moving. And it looked kind of stiff.

"Sweetheart, that's a great find, but I think he's dead." I told him.

Brennan merely replied, "I know. It's because he's missing two legs."

And it was. That's a mystery that I think we will never get to the bottom of.
