Motivation
How do you get your 5 year old, with new tubes in his ears to wear his ear plugs in the shower? This is the kid that doesn't like anything he feels might be slightly intrusive!
Me, to Nicholas: "Hey, why don't you put on these super suction ears. You can look just like LarryBoy!"
Mission accomplished!

Hey, even though you accomplished the whole putty in the ear thing. We were told when Nicholas had his put in, that shower water and tap water are fine in the ears. Just not bath water that has been stewed in, pool water, or definately not beach water.
Congrats on getting him to wear them though. Nicholas would never even get them near his ears; therefore he spent his beach visit with just a few steps into the water.
