More Birthday Moments

Oh, and while making dinner yesterday, I placed the cake layers on a rack to cool. I then turned back to the orange chicken.

Moments later, I heard a fairly emphatic HMMMM! I turned to see Philip munching on chocolate cake. A nice, 2 year old sized fistful of cake was noticeably absent from one of the layers.

Lesson learned - if you sneak in your pre-taste in the cutest way possible, Mom will not scold, but will instead make it into a blog entry. And all will be forgiven!
